Vassi grew up in tradition-rich Bulgaria, Europe. Drawing since age of six, he holds 1997 M.F.A. in painting from the Academy for Fine Arts, Sofia, Bulgaria. Through the years he developed his unique style, which according to the critics is very personal. "His paintings emanate silence and serenity, while the colors induce calmness and harmony."/ Agora Gallery-New York/. Vassi is well known artist in his native country.
